This course is ideal for complete beginners who would like an in depth introduction to glass fusing or for people who have done a taster session and would like to continue learning more about glass fusing techniques. \nThe course will run over 6 consecutive Saturday afternoons from 2pm to 4pm.  \nDates for this course are – \n\nSat 5th August 2-4pm\nSat 12th August 2-4pm\nSat 19th August 2-4pm\nSat 26th August 2-4pm\nSat 2nd September 2-4pm\nSat 9th September 2-4pm\n\nOver the course of the sessions topics will include\, Design principles\, Kiln preparation\, Kiln programming\, Choosing glass\, Glass and tool supplies\, Introduction to workshop tools\, Glass cutting\, Full fusing\, Tack fusing\, Slumping\, accessory glass\, inclusions and cold working. \nEach week will be a mixture of glass fusing\, workshop theory and practical applications of what you have been learning. \nYou will leave the end of the 6 week course with a fused glass bowl\, a draped vase\, a set of coasters and a number of other small items and test pieces. \nThese will be of your own design\, so a brilliant opportunity to make gifts or items to match your own decor.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row] \nWant to spread the cost of your course? Choose a Pay in instalments ticket at the checkout.
