DESCRIPTION:Fancy trying something new? Discover glass fusing through a taster session at Glassification. \nJoin us for a 2 hour session to play and experiment with fusing glass to create beautiful items to take home and enjoy! \nDiscover new skills as you explore different ways of using coloured glass and embellishments to achieve your designs. Learn the basic skills required from cutting glass\, to combining different glasses and elements to produce your own unique pieces. You will also learn about the kilns used for fusing glass and a basis in firing programmes that will help you to achieve the results you want in your pieces. \nWarning – glass fusing can be highly addictive\, just ask your tutor Nikki\, the owner of Glassification! \nThis is a BEGINNERS course – Suitable for anyone and everyone\, no previous experience is necessary. \nWhat do I need? \nNothing\, just bring yourself and make sure you wear a pair of sturdy closed-toed shoes. The workshop can get a bit chilly in the winter so also dress in layers! \nAll of your glass\, materials\, tools and a cuppa will be provided. \nSessions are 10.30 till 12.30. \n  \n  \n  \nAccessibility: \nWe will try to make our courses accessible to all\, however if you have any disabilities or physical limitations of any kind we ask that you discuss it with us before booking. This course is on the ground floor of our premises but our toilet facilities are only accessed via stairs. \nLooking for a gift? \nWhy not buy a course as a unique gift? If you’re unsure of a suitable date you can buy a voucher and let them choose their own! Vouchers are valid for 12 months from date of purchase and need to be used to book a specific date within that time. A booking is not confirmed until the voucher has been validated against a specific date.
