4 Day Summer Boot Camp 2021

Especially designed for people working in schools who can’t usually make a Masterclass, experienced glass artist Liz Sparkes will be offering 4 days of advanced techniques.

There will be some flexibility to allow students to direct their learning, however we will be covering the following

• Using powders and frits to create sea and landscapes
• Free form slumping (drop outs and slumping without moulds)
• Cold working techniques – sandblasting and Verre Eglomise
• Working with enamels

By the end of the course participants will have a greater understanding of heat work, how glass behaves in a kiln, and more confidence in experimenting to create their own unique works of art.

Experience level – some experience of fused glass required
